The new Casio XJ-UT311WNBKT is an updated version of the XJ-UT310WNBKT ultra short throw projector. It still offers 3100 lumen rated brightness and WXGA (1200x800) native resolution. But it now offers a much-improved colour depth at up to 1.07 billion (full colour), which allows it to produce truer and more vivid colours and delivers better image quality. It has a Intelligent Brightness Control feature that adjusts brightness levels according to the lighting condition of the room, so the image quality is still good under ambient light. It is an excellent choice for business presentation and classroom use.
Like other products in the Ultra short throw range, the XJ-UT311WNBKT projector uses DLP® Technology to generate the light instead of using a mercury lamp to cut down energy and maintaince cost. It can be mounted close to the wall and create large, powerful presentations even in smaller rooms. The key advantage of Ultra Short Throw projection is that it virtually eliminates shadowing on the screen allowing for more creative and engaging presentations. This model also comes with a free bracket.
The XJ-UT311WN has a good set of connections, including an HDMI port, two VGA-in ports, a VGA-out port for connecting to an external monitor, and one S-Video port. It also includes RCA jacks for composite video and stereo audio, plus four small (2.5mm) audio jacks: one for a microphone, two audio-in, and one audio-out. It also has an Ethernet port, plus a USB Type A port for connecting a USB thumb drive or the optional Wi-Fi adapter (sold separately). It has an 16W internal audio speaker and has plenty of connectivity options to connect to an external speaker. It also has 5 years parts & labour warranty or 10000hours/5 years warranty on the light source.
